Q: How do I configure primary languages for a panel discussion with multilingual speakers?
Note: A maximum of 1 primary languages can be configured per session.
To set primary languages for your event:
- Go to Project Settings.
- Navigate to the Languages tab.
- Select up to 3 primary languages.
Q: Can I set a different primary language for a specific session?
Yes, you can set primary language at the session level:

Open the Session Settings for the specific session.

Go to the Language option.

Select one primary language from the available options.
This overrides the default language setting for that session only.
Q: Do translation languages apply to Key Takeaways and Idea Clouds?
Yes. Translation languages apply to Key Takeaways and Idea Clouds in addition to live transcripts.
Q: Will attendees see translated content in real time?
Yes. Attendees can view translated content in real time during live sessions.
Q: How do attendees access translated content?
Attendees can switch languages directly from the attendee view:
- In the top-right corner of the attendee interface, there is a language selector.
- Attendees can choose their preferred language for translations from this menu.
Q: How accurate are the translations?
Snapsight translations are 90–95% accurate, depending on audio quality, speaker clarity, and language complexity.
Q: Can I enable or disable translations for specific sessions?
No. Translation language settings apply globally to all sessions in the event. It is not currently possible to enable or disable translations for individual sessions.
Q: Can I enable Live Audio Translation for specific sessions only?
No. When Live Audio Translation is enabled, it applies to all sessions in the event. Session-level control is not currently supported.
Q: Is Live Audio Translation played in real time?
Yes. Translated audio is delivered to attendees in real time during the session.
