Q: Can I upload industry-specific or technical terms for better speech recognition?

Yes. Snapsight supports custom vocabulary uploads for technical, medical, scientific, and other specialized terminology:

1. Go to Project Settings.

2. Navigate to Advanced > Custom Vocabulary.

3. Upload your vocabulary file.

Q: How does Custom Vocabulary improve speech-to-text accuracy?

When you upload a custom vocabulary file, Snapsight learns the pronunciation and correct spelling or abbreviation of specialized terms. During transcription, it cross-references the audio against your vocabulary to ensure the right words are captured accurately.

Q: Which languages support Custom Vocabulary?

Custom Vocabulary is currently supported for 75 languages.

Q: Can I upload vocabulary files for multiple languages?

Yes, you can upload up to 2 vocabulary files (one per language). If you need support for more than 2 languages, contact Snapsight support at cs@snapsight.com.

Q: Can I update or replace a custom vocabulary file after uploading?

Yes. You can update or replace custom vocabulary files at any time from Project Settings > Advanced > Custom Vocabulary.

Q: How long does Custom Vocabulary take to activate after uploading?

Custom Vocabulary typically takes a few minutes to process and become active after uploading.
